Came across this magazine/quarterly/website. It has a lot of good stuff in it. Here's their blog, which makes me miss L.A. when reading it because a lot of their postings are about cool L.A. events.
Also, Susan Faludi wrote an op/ed in today's NY Times about HRC. An interesting read.

this quarterly looks great. i also just read through the blog and became saddened at my lack of paricipation/attendance in many exciting, inspiring, creative events in los angeles. i can't seem to strike that balance between work, dog, alone time, sleep, cultural activities (movies, music, art etc), exercise, sporting events, friends, travel and cleaning! i was also sad to watch the clips of the No Age/Mika Miko show that i did at least attempt to attend at the library. very fun and i've got to see these groups sometime asap.
