Hancock Street Dance!

We came, we saw, we danced (and gambled away $4.25)!

After repeated requests, here is a photo fabulous documentation of our time at the always wonderful and endlessly entertaining Hancock Street Dance (which more accurately should be named Hancock Fire Station Dance and Gambling Party -- all proceeds unwillingly donated to the Hancock Lions Club).

The scene as we arrived:

The entertainment:

The band:

The girls ready to take this place by storm:

The high rollers table:

The sun has set in the vast Wisconsin sky. Now is when the real party starts. Check out these moves:

Someone feels left out:

How quickly the tides do change:

We were dodging the paparazzi all night. Well, some of us were.

In these following photos, you may witness the effect of the street dance on the human psyche. These are being sent to psychologists as we speak:

The end. Hope to see you there next year! I'll save you a dance.

What a difficult task to effectively translate the excitement, the Cash, the movement of Lady Luck into words! But you did it! I felt like I was back on the street, watching the other people do their pokey country western dances that I would never be able to learn....

Please tell me you brought a video camera and shot a remake of Dirty Dancing.

ok, i'd like to comment on the series of Kyle dancing with jamie and then with lindsay: can anyone recall the home video of the double couple in-home prom, Kyle and Jamie and Erin and Tommy? i wish i could remember what the song was....but i do remember a lot of spins and major moves and kyle being a hearthrob and your mom saying something like, "everyone's got their guy"...some things never change. this is an amazing photo documentary. you may want to consider submitting.

Perhaps we will work on a Dirty Dancing sequel. Or a sequel to the Erin/Tommy saga. Actually, I think those two ideas could be combined to make one compelling, sexy drama that really pushes the envelope.
