A good resource...

...if you're wondering what's going to happen to your favorite TV shows (read: Friday Night Lights, 30 Rock and The Office) post-strike. The NY Times published this TV decoder yesterday. It's a helpful guide that is broken down by networks, and the site states that it will be updated with new info as they get it.

Good news on The Office, 30 Rock front. And I must admit (shamefully) that I'm happy to see Gossip Girl will have 9 new episodes. Yes, I have revealed myself...the secret is out. Bad, yet not unexpected news for 24, which can't seem to get its act together, and possibly downright frightful news for FNL. Please, NBC, do NOT cancel Friday Night Lights. This is your chance to make amends for Freaks and Geeks (well, not really, but still); don't screw up again and cancel one of the best television shows on air.

I know, I heard about the possibility of FNL being cancelled. I hate it b/c here I was, getting excited that the strike was ending and then they do this! I swear, I'll be so angry if this happens. My So-Called Life, Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development...they always cancel the good shows!

Also, I'm so sad that we won't have any more Jack Bauer until January 2009!! That's crazy...about a year to wait and see what happens next season!!

Yeah, how will be know what happened to Jack and his imminent battle with the seagulls? All the tension that has been building up will be gone in a year. I'll have forgotten about the seagulls.

Maybe we should start a FNL petition now.

I know, I fear we'll lose our 24 momentum. Plus I was excited for Janeane Garofalo and Cherry Jones. I would hope that the seagulls would make the recap in the beginning.
