Carrie Brownstein, guitar virtuoso from my favorite band, Sleater-Kinney, appears to be pretty busy these days.
She is writing a blog for NPR, titled Monitor Mix (thanks for the tip, Laura). I can now count on 15 minutes of my day devoted to checking and reading her blog. She also has a sketch comedy web show titled ThunderAnt with Fred Armisen. Such exciting developments!

probably the best discovery since janet drumming right in front of me at the bright eyes NYC show. ah s-k left such a void, but these little treasures (janet's continued drumming for various bands, corin doing vocals with eddie vedder for into the wild, carrie's writings & video skethces, and, of course, the hope that someday the S-K retrospective will be in our hands) do help.
